Jetzt ist es doch soweit. OEM Version von AmigaOS 4.1 für SAM440ep steht unmittelbar bevor. Hier mal ein paar Daten zu verschiedenen Boardvarianten: Sam440ep TECHNICAL SPECS Sam440ep is the first modular motherboard produced by ACube Systems Srl. The main characteristics are: * low power consumption * passive cooling * scalability The core of the board is the PowerPC 440EP, a System On Chip (SoC) produced by AMCC under license from IBM. One of the main features of the PowerPC AMCC 440EP is the presence, together with the CPU, of a number of integrated peripherals. This allowed us to build a complete system with a huge savings of both development and debug time, with less components and space used on the PCB. This also results in a significant cost reduction for the customer. As a consequence the northbridge/southbridge combination is not present on the board. Ich hät da auch interesse dran, zumal wenn man sieht, das die Geschwindigkeit gar nicht so weit unter der eines G4/@800MHz den ich jetzt hab, liegt. Und wenn das Board gut läuft, hoffe ich ja doch, das dann auch irgendwann Leistungsstärkere folgen werden. Auf jedenfall mal wieder eine positive Nachricht, so kanns weiter gehn. Ich halt da auf jedenfall ein Auge mit drauf und sobald ich da was lese, geb ich laut.
